I am privileged and proud to welcome you to our Trust. We are a Trust that pride ourselves on supporting schools in our Trust to shine. We know that schools are part of a community and we seek to ensure that our schools remain distinctive and central to the communities that they serve.

At Northern Lights Learning Trust our vision is simple…

The values of community, pride, support, integrity and the voice of the child are the foundations of our Trust and it is our mission to ensure they are embedded in our everyday lives, underpinned by Christianity in our Church schools. The decisions that we make are made to ensure that those values can be lived out wholeheartedly in our schools.

Children are at the heart of everything we do and we believe that our pupils are integral to how we achieve our values and aims.

I feel honoured to be the leader of Northern Lights Learning Trust. We exist to ensure all of the pupils, schools, families and communities get the best opportunities and outcomes that they can. We believe we are stronger together and are proud to have a Teaching School and a National Support school in our Trust because they emphasise our ethos and culture of support. We are proud of everyone in Northern Lights Learning Trust and all that they achieve, and that we do it through integrity. We understand the greater good and that our legacy in our pupils, schools and communities will continue long after any individual is here.

We operate on a culture of respect, always being mindful of the quote from Maya Angelou; 'People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'
